A- I like the lowest incoming salary as a method to TRY to reduce tanking.

C- Although it looks to be losing, lol... I like 15 keepers so that if & when an owner bails, there will be more Draftable talent every year to turn a team around faster.

I hope it stays the same and not a vote every year. First year is good but if it has the chance to change every season you are gonna lose alot of owners.

This will be the last vote on these two issues for at least as long as I run this league!

It seems we have 2 openings in our proggy as 2 guys have dissappeared only 7 rounds into the draft! (i was going to pick for them as I have a rule that I will pick if a player falls 4 picks behind, but since these guys haven't even opened my sitemails i figure replacing them now would be better than waiting!)

The two franchises available:

New York (NL) Los Angeles (NL)

Tim Raines OF Eddie Murray 1B
Bud Black P Charlie Hough P
Johnny Ray 2B Joe Carter OF

Teams may be moved to either Cleveland or California (AL) as well.

Im doing this so the new owners can go ahead and make the missing picks for themselves as I will wait till tommorrow 11/24 to make up the missed picks. Site mail me or post here with interest!

I have a keeper question. I know it costs 1/2 to keep a guy on IR, but does that count as one of the 18 keepers?

"2 Injured Reserve spots will be available(but at a cost)"

No these 2 IR spots do NOT count towards your 18.

I might be willing to jump in, but why is the draft still proceeding if you are replacing two owners? It appears that seven picks were made since you posted that two are MIA. I figure any owner would need at least an hour or two to do some research on who is already on his team and who is available. In my case, I only have a little time in the next few hours, so if I were to take a team it might be tomorrow morning before I could make an educated pick. Between now and then, in addition to very useful guys like Fred Lynn and Vance Law having been taken since your post that you need owners, another dozen good player would disappear.

Also, since these teams have missed five of the first eight picks and are probably screwed for a couple of seasons, would there be supplemental picks given next season at the end of the first few rounds to make them more feasible?

As it stands, I don't see how one of these teams could hope to be competitive for a few seasons.
