eman is learning a lesson I learned awhile ago. You need to check the rosters even if it delays the start of a league.

I ran one a couple of years ago and didn't do a good check of players. Ended up with 5 or 6 illegal players spread over a few teams.
I took some heavy abuse from a couple of owners-one said I didn't deserve my free team (still don't like that guy-f**k him -he will remain nameless) and another still won't play in my leagues because of it.

Just make the fixes eman and I hope everyone cuts him some slack. It is not always easy

I agree that eman needs to be cut some slack. We need more folks to run leagues, and it does take some time to learn all the mistakes that can be made. I also understand steve's frustration at having a 4-1 or 5-1 start wiped out.

As for Padilla, I read the rules to mean that players with split seasons could only be taken by the team that they played for last. But it's not clear enough that I could say for sure that soxyanks is not eligible to take him. The rule says he belongs to the team he played for last, and that only players from teams not selected can be drafted. But rules do not specify whether the player's first team can have him if the last team doesn't take him. That's an issue eman should decide, and when he does everyone should live with it and get on with the season.

Okay im extremely tired just got home from a funeral with that being said im not sure what happend with kleinvoet cause I checked all the rosters though I was intrested look for partial seasonsI sorta assumed that each player would have enough sense to put the right players in. i will send a ticket in the morning to have that changed and ill deal with all the other comments in the morning

Yea, I understand its not realy eman's responsibility to check and make sure that people didn't blatently put plyers on their team. I didn't even notice it when I first played the twins. No problem.

Nor did I notice it, but it is the commish's job to notice it... Twins beat me twice with Dunn playing a major role!

How about you just put the guys on your team that are supposed to be on it? Is it hbomb's fault that your roster is screwed up? He's not running the show, just asking about players. Regardless of who posted about it, all you need to do is fix the problem, or if it's not a problem explain why it isn't.

Edit: This made more sense before kleinevoet deleted his post complaining that he didn't get to use a few players and that eman didn't notice that his roster had Dunn on it, and saying he was done with the league.

And sorry to hear about the funeral eman. Hope things are OK and no worries on small stuff like this pretend game.

Okay thanks everyone again for there patience your right szczubelek that running a league is not always easy and I have learnt a lesson about doublechecking players as for Padilla I did tell soxyanks12 that he could use him I looked at jgreene roster and he wasnt using Padilla so I told him he could use him also had a look to see if anyone else fit this profile.Looking at what the rules are which are schwarze I shouldnt have allowed him regardless of any circumstance I guess if we do another season we will have to change the rule so if one person isnt using the player a second team can have the player. I would like to leave padilla if we took him off soxyanks would be short innings he shouldnt get punished for my mistakes

Wait so I could have used Masterson and Brad Penny?

I have no problem with leaving Padilla on soxyanks roster. The bigger deal is what we are going to do about klein.
