I do a barrage of self-employed work at home during the day, and so I usually will watch good TV series on DVD (years after they've run on television). From the esteemed commentary here, I'm guessing I should check out Lost? I've only seen half an episode, a couple years ago, and that was on a trip to Hawaii, so I can't tell if I liked it because it's terrific or because the weather was terrific...

I usually don't get into Sci-Fi programming that much, however...

the wife and I happened upon "Hulu.com" back in September and noticed all of the T.V. shows/episodes that were available for free. One of those was "Lost." Amazingly, they have/had every episode from the first five seasons. We started watching and couldn't stop. We watched all five seasons worth beginning in September and finished mid-November. We've been chomping at the bit, waiting for tonight's episode to see what happens next.

Don't watch these new episodes yet. I'd recommend doing what we did - go to Hulu and find Season One, Episode One (appropriately called "Pilot"). Press Play. You'll be hooked from that point on - and then you can watch every episode in order.

My wife got me hooked. I also recommend watching them in order. You'll know pretty quickly if it's your kind of entertainment...

Speaking of "lost," who we waitin' on? My awful pitching staff needs some more filler innings from Round 7!

Definitely start with the pilot, then view each episode in order without missing a second... to get yourself ready, pop in a Driveshaft CD, whip up a big batch of ranch dressing, and don't even think about buying a lottery ticket.

I get the feeling that everyone's offense is going to be obscene. I was so focused on getting pitching (and failing) that my offense was mainly third string afterthought guys and I'm still currently sitting on a team average of .320 with 240 HR.
