He will compete for the job. Al still wants Russell to start so this is an attempt to motivate him. Campbell certainly didn't impress in Washington. Much was made of new OC every year but I think JC might just a little too dumb to be a QB. That said, it can't hurt. Russell and Gradkowski didn't have me jumping for joy.
