low PER players shooting well from the arc is a major issue with this engine

Fouls seem to still be a big issue.  In an average game, way too many are being called.

agreed.  here's yet another gem from tonight's game.  3 big men (only one of whom could remotely be considered an okay 3 point shooter) lit up my 3-2 zone to the tune of 7/8 from downtown.  http://www.wisjournal.com/hd/GameResults/BoxScore.aspx?gid=6089137

Can we get the engine version added back to the bottom of the 2nd half pbp?

I've had enough.  I've got four teams (3 D1's and a D3) and have had them for a long time.  This new engine does not logically make sense in anything it does. I could give you a ton of examples, but just last night with my D3 team, the opponent has a guy who is an average rebounder, less of an athlete and less speed than my guy who is guarding him - in short, has not advantage whatsoever, and he gets 20 points and 17 boards.
I play this game for fun and there is absolutely nothing fun about the way this thing is running now.  I'm playing out the seasons I've paid for and then it's adios.  I'll go play Strat-O-Matic baseball or something else, but this new engine is ridiculous.  If I want to pay get frustrated, I'll just give my wife $20 each week.

Since you want examples, here you go...
This guy (http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/PlayerProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=0&pid=1556411) with his lack of athleticism compared to the two he played against ... this guy (http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/PlayerProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=0&pid=1509030) and this guy (http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/PlayerProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=0&pid=1591178) could not possibly IRL get 20 points and 17 rebounds.  These are the small things that change game outcomes that have caused me to decide to quit.

15 fouls [and 5 intentionals] in the second half [and overtime] against an inferior team [with better iq and hca], [playing halfcourt press, uptempo]

just sayin

Seble, after a make, is the clock running or stopping under a minute to go in the first half?  IRL it runs.

Anoather example of flawed logic:  http://whatifsports.com/hd/GameResults/playbyplay.aspx?gid=6187907&half=2

At :17 of first half a made basket and at :13 a shot is attempted by the other team.  IRL the second team keeps the ball until the end of half and shoots the last possession (or at least that is the goal).  No doubt.  As it is you allowed one extra possession.

IMHO, the logic of the pbp is back to where it was when the game was first introduced.  We have lost all of the things that were enhanced over the years...

Did people really want to reduce game to game variation?  Am I the only one who thinks that;s an awful idea?

Does Passing rating have any significance on team's fg%?  Does a high PA pg result in better fg% from an equal team with a pg with lower PA rating, that is?

Furthermore, was there a recent change to assists generated in a motion offense by PG's in the recent engine updates?

Doing a quick survey of top W1 D3 school pg's I'm seeing players assists totals going down from last year to this year which seems odd considering they should have higher IQ's, ratings and typically easier nonconference schedules up to this point where I'm making the y2y comp.  York, Defiance, George Fox and MW all have lower apm, while RHT and Arcadia are basically unimproved.  Only counter example so far is Wisc Sup.  And all of these are very low on an absolute basis for starting PG and winning teams.

Trial #1 a resounding success for me but a dubious result maybe for the sim.  I start centers at 4 positions.  I ran a 41 speed center at 2 guard last night with bh 10 and 15 passing and an 18 speed center at sf with 33 passing and 2 bh.  they combined for 22 points, 7 assists and only 4 turnovers.  The 33 passing center at SF had more assists in this game than my former starting pg with 71 speed and 81 passing.  I'm starting all centers tonite.

another example of big men hitting too high a % of 3pters - http://www.wisjournal.com/hd/PlayerProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=0&pid=1562222

no way a guy with 1 PER & 3 BH should be hitting 30% for his career or over 40% this year.  even with a sample size of 12 three pointers so far this year, it's still too high.
