The problem lies in the fact that the vast majority of the population is completely scientifically illiterate.
Its not that I hear arguments of “don’t worry” because of a,b,c and here is something to substantiate why. It is I am hearing arguments of justifications to not worry that rely on completely illogical non-sequitor statements steeped in abysmal ignorance, as if it were a language in itself.
Not everyone will grasp the concepts of science and other areas of human study, especially in a culture where it is a policy not to teach kids to think, the policy is to teach them what to know and what to think about (TV). So in light of this fact of life in the western world, i am not surprised there are infinite veritable hordes and legions of idiots whose only usefulness is consumption, taxation, and confusion. No greater weapon on earth can match the efficacy of confusion, nothing else can so effectively diffuse critical thinking, focus, and common sense than an ocean of intently apathetic and confused voices vying for attention (everyone's a pundit). Hence the insulation of the of the elite.
Knowledge is power, the light to see in the darkness, the darkness of the oblivion of self-righteous stupidity. Wanna know nuclear chemistry? Buy a college-level chem book, educate yourself (robocoach style). Or else you're just bio-cannon fodder that eats trash and belches tax dollars when squeezed. i'm ****** at the american people. why i got the hell out of the states 13 years ago. now i see it dying a slow death and it kills me to see the sheep bleating, asking the government to fix the economy and provide jobs. good god. since when do patriots ask the government for handouts. i guess now they do. 48.5 million on foodstamps. Also and most likely there's a big difference between what's happening in China than in the US. And to repsond to your comment he does have a little bit of that but I can't assure you he knows about these matters a lot more than most people you would meet and know. Doesn't mean he's always correct but he seem pretty sure on this one.
And I can assure you I'm very educated on a lot of matters, I do not watch any Fox News or CNN or the local news any of that stuff. Im very learned of mass marketing psychology and how advertisers, corporations and governments use these principals to deceive and lie. Do I know anything about chemistry? No I don't but I ask people that do. Then make my own decision. The one thing I say to people is sometimes you need to do a self check in your lines of thought becuase you may be no different than the "moron" you are talking about. And you correct on to more important things such as SIM Basketball!!!
