My pick not being legal had no effect whatsoever on the selections of people who followed me, did it? But these kind of comments do have an effect on how I perceive the people in the league.

So, two, not one but two nasty and gratuitous comments about me in one round. The ONLY reason I am staying in this league is because contrarian23 is the founder and I have no intention of hanging him up in the middle of a draft. The rest of the league can go jump in the ocean that separates the country I live in - you know the one with public universal health care that has gotten Covid-19 under control and where people followed the basic rules of civility and concern for others and during the worst period the country had faced since the last war by singing together from their balconies, from the one I was born and raised in, you know the one where now more people are dying each month than we lost soldiers monthly during World War Two, BECAUSE of the kind of attitudes on display here. I didn’t make a nasty comment. I was just pointing out that you wouldn’t have been waiting to make your pick here if your prior one was legal.

This is a hard draft. And I know I have put pressure from the beginning to keep things moving. My intention in doing so is because I hate off the clock drafts, where occasionally owners feel no imperative at all to make a pick in a timely manner. At the same time, this draft requires a lot of strategy. An explicit wrong pick carries a stiff penalty - already imposed upon two owners - but an implicit wrong pick (one that is technically legal but ends up screwing up your roster) is arguably as bad, if not worse.

In my opinion the pace of the draft has been fine. We'll be done and playing in 2-3 days, maybe less.

I would ask that no one post anything in the draft at this point that suggests frustration or impatience with each other. You are welcome to have those sentiments; I am asking you to keep such comments out of the forum at this time.

Also, in case it comes up, I do not want anyone to jump ahead in the draft. Even if no one who comes before you needs to pick from your group, I would prefer that we do round 5 in order as posted on page 1.

I apologize if you thought I was casting aspersions on the hemisphere of your chosen habitation. Most WASP's, and I am one, have our heritage from your hemisphere and it is a wonderful place to visit or just to read and dream about for so many reasons . I am not prejudicial about hemispheres but perhaps overly sensitive with time zones. Living on the Left Coast of this continent proves to be inconvenient when it comes to WiS drafts, especially those held on the clock. Fortunately this is not one of those,

I am from northern New Jersey. Which may help explain my attitude to these comments, my unwillingness to let things just go, and why I can do this stuff all day.
