Muddy... I'm in for golf and eats Friday. Not sure about the game on Saturday.
The game is gonna be take care of your own tickets this year since they're assrapingly expensive now.  We will probably have a bunch of people at Murphy's during the game as well.

What would you think of doing Arlington Racetrack instead of golf?  I may float that idea out there to everyone.  Golf is fun and all, but it's totally weather dependent.  Besides, who doesn't love playing the ponies?

SM sent. This way we can stay on topic about how ridiculous hawks management is ;)

1989-2001 = Lemieux Era - 2 Stanley Cups (back to back), 12 playoffs in 13 seasons
2006-Present = Crosby Era - 1 Stanley Cup, back to back Stanly Cup appearances, 5 playoffs in 5 seasons

Toews Era = Over. No Physical Support. No Cap Space. ****** Team Management.

If that's how you measure success, then by my count it's closer to this:

Toews era: 1 Stanley Cup, back to back Conference Finalists, 3 playoffs in 4 seasons. Compares favorably when I put it that way doesn't it?

Look, Toews is not a Crosby or a Lemieux, but the "Toews" era will only be over when there is no longer a #19 wearing red, white and black. Only then can the Toews era be deemed a success or failure.

Let's wait and see how management comes out of that RFA debacle before judging them as well. If Morin and Stalberg pan out, those deals would suddenly look alot better.

Muddy compares Toews to Yzerman,Crosby,Lemieux,Oveckin??  you might as well throw Kesler into that group as he shut down the superstar as his team was being eliminated

Toews=Bryan Trottier.................Never the best player.........But always one of the best players???

Toews and Rose really stepped it up in  this years playoffs

But wait.... Toews scored 1 goal in the series that brought the hawks to OT.... come on..... he was awesome!!!

He shut Kessler's *** down in the first round.  Even when he doesn't score, he shuts down elite players.

Sounds elite to me.

How is the Fraud Hawks Annual golf Tournament going muddy?
6/3/2011 6:45 PM
Toews shut Kesler down?  Since that's all Toews accomplished in that series (shutting down his checking line) then I'm sure the Canucks are saying "please may we have some more of that next year."

And I hope Bowman takes notes on how to manage the cap when the Canucks go to the cup next season.
