It's cute that moy still doesn't know the difference between training and medical budgets.
I just looked it up. Training helps prevent injuries and aids off-season development. Medical is recovery and recovery time.

so the 190 days or whatever is still a combination of the two.

Of course. The training budget failed to prevent the injury.... thus the medical budget kicked in and gave the injury a190 days recovery time. They work independently of each other but in sequence, training then medical.

Am I wrong?

Training - This refers to the value allotted to preventing injuries. Training specifically refers to the preparations made by players and staff to keep the team healthy. While some players will always be more injury-prone than others, spending money on training can significantly limit or minimize player injuries. In addition to preventing injuries your previous seasons budget will impact certain ratings during the offseason. The ratings that are impacted include power, stamina, durability, and velocity.

Medical - This refers to the value allotted to be spent on players recovering from injuries. The medical staff works with injured players in attempt to ensure quick, efficient and full recovery. While some players will always be more injury-prone than others, spending money on a medical staff can reduce a player's stint on the disabled list and aid his performance following recovery.

No.  The days are the medical budget.  The injury itself was the training.

It's a good feature.

I think the one trade mink made with bret was actually lopsided in bret's favor. The salary actually worked out pretty evenly and bret got someone more useful.

agreed. I was shocked mink put that trade through after I offered much much better for the same player earlier in the season.

Yeah.  I think we all agreed here that bret got the better end of that deal.  I wouldn't call it a rape and couldn't clam him too hard for it though.
