Season 4: Does NHN rally from down in the semis to start a dynasty, or do we have an all new blood final?



Also this look back makes it really sink in for me how far the shamrocks have fallen. So quickly.

Been watching Jay and ATrain build great teams. Knew this day was coming. Jay arrived last year, Atrain took another season to figure out what to do with it all, but he's had one of the most talented teams for a couple of years now.

Season 2, I won the regular season, but Probie got me in the semis and went on to win the Cup over Pitt after St. Louie beat him up in the other semi.

Season 3, I flew relatively under the radar while Speedy tore up the regular season, but won the Cup.

I still have a pulse as far as sweeping both goes this year. Nobody's fault but mine (and Vanloh's) if I don't pull it off. I've got the horses.

I originally built for the future and for the most part it looks like it's paying off. Failed to make the post-season the first 2 years, but last year snagged the 8th seed and shocked Speedy in the first round after losing game 1 only to get swept in the Semis. This season we stumbled down the stretch and had to settle for the 6th seed and got knocked out by the one newb who somehow made the post-season (he did take both regular season meetings, so the fact I took one of the playoff games was a slight shock).

Even though I'm 1 skater and 1 goalie short, I'm running my guys through a 9 hour practice tomorrow as punishment for bowing out in the first round.

There is a round after round 1?

I wouldn't either, if I hadn't gotten past it a year ago.

but sweeps are good for me and anyone else paying off a loan that need a compressed schedule.

I wish they'd run the 3rd round of the draft this AM.

SEATTLE- Seattle Slashers Owner/General Manager tdkienholz announced today that the contract of Head Coach Nicky Eber would not be renewed and he would be free to pursue other coaching opportunities. Mr. tdkienholz said in the press release "we have young, high-potential players who just have not developed as well as we had hoped by this point. Also, our failure to build upon last season's trip to the league semi-finals led to this decision."
