I think talent wise and need wise dirk is a fine pick.
My bad, I agree after looking at who he has. That is an excellent fit. I feel like Dream did when KJ slammed on him LMFAO!

Everybody gets made the fool sometimes.  Doesn't mean they're bad.
LMFAO, that was one play not a whole game. Obviously Dream was expecting KJ to pass the ball or he would 've threw that one in the 10th row. Let's see the one where Dream runs down I do believe it was KJ in the open court and embarrasses him with an amazing blocked shot! KJ was a great player 4 sure with amazing speed and athletecism like Dream!
I know and agree with everything you just said.  It's just one of my favorite individual plays that I ever saw so I look for opportunities to bring it up.

I have great respect for Robinson who was an awesome C. I just wish people on this forum would show the same respect for Ewing who was every bit as good as Robinson ever was. They are almost equal when you compare them. Robinson's stats are more inflated cuz of the team he played for as Ewing played on an extremely powerful team that had PF's playing SF and played on a team that slowed it down more than probably any other, JVG LOL. Ewing's rebounding stats would be much higher playing on a different team aka Oakley, Mason, & Smith who could outrebound their opponents consistently! Robinson was better in the open court cuz he had SF like speed/abilities but defensively they were both great and neither were great post players like Dream but they were both still great post players, much better than the rest of the C's in the post during their career. Different styles great players!

Ewing was voted top 50 players all-time and he was better than alot players on that list! You guys missed a great player/career obviously!

I think we need to pick a coach after the 8th round so we will go in reverse order. Jayharvill will get the 1st pick to coach his team in the 9th round and so on.

I don't like the coach idea.

Ummm... Ewing was (overall game) probably in the top 8 or 9 centers of all-time.  Wilt, Kareem, Hakeem, Shaq & Russell are obvious.  After that, it's a jumble with Admiral, Moses, A-Train & Ewing to me.

I was all over Dirk with my next pick. I am struggling with looking at people I have not seen. At this point anybody before 1980 is hard for me to take because I never saw them play.

Think of who Dirk has had (or not had) on his teams!  Also, who he has had to deal with throughout his career.
Timmy, Kobe, Ginobili, Shaq, Wade, LBJ, Durant, Deron, CP3, Garnett, Yao...etc.  Not a lot of great bigs, but tough guys to beat in the playoffs.

Also, I think the coach idea is fun, but shouldn't count toward team performance.

I can't believe he's still on the board. There are so many greats left but I can't pass up a top 6 PG, top 4 passing PG, probably top 2 defender, can hit open shots, the 3, great leader, great decision maker, incredible on the fast break, incredible passer on the dime, creative,  makes everyone on his team better, tough hard nosed player. I also know he will get Dream the ball in the post at the right time in the right spots!

Jason Kidd

Nice.  He wouldn't have lasted much longer, trust me.

I'm extremely happy with the Kidd pick! Alot of the other players I want will be gone by my next pick but there's plenty of great players to fill out the rest of our rosters. I can't believe how many great players haven't been picked yet. This draft will finish with a bang! This is pretty cool if you ask me. I knew it was gonna be fun.

That was my pick which would have left me with still no scoring but he just seemed to fit with this team. I will let the numbers speak for themselves and will select PF - Bob Pettit

Don't have time now to explain 07-09 Chris Paul
To explain my pick now:

I wanted D, another guy who played hard, a passer that can knock down his shots and can drive and create opportunities with his own offense.  I picked him during his most healthy and productive era.  CP3 is any many ways the evolutionary Isiah Thomas.  He makes players that play with him better...he turns stiffs into All-Stars (David West anyone) and made a lottery team into a playoff threat.

He is a two time NBA Champion.
He is a 7-time all-nba defensive 1st teamer.
He's a big guard with great vision and an overall game that just felt... smooth.
He'll make a nice compliment for what Wade & Kareem bring.

That'd be Walt "Clyde" Frazier.
