IIRC, Tennessee did a number like that on Detroit on Thanksgiving the year before Schwartz came to the Motor City.  New England the year before.  Carolina sometime too.

But, then again, could you call the Lions an NFL back then?

The numbers look right to me.  I'm going to go ahead and say Up & Comers vote.  I'll double check tomorrow, as I have to admit, I'm not in any calculation mode right now, but I don't see anything wrong looking at  onside's numbers.

I'm a little bit tossed at the moment...  I went 5-0 against the spread, and I gave my friend 10 plays today who used 6 of them to hit a 6 team parlay.  The beauty is, he could have used all 10 because I had an undefeated week.

Challenge 6:  Reading is Power (Play)

Challenge 6 will take place rink side in the NHL. 

For the games Tuesday Night, I need each of your tribes to send me a Fantasy Hockey team.  Your team should consist of:

1 Center
2 Wings
2 Defensemen
1 Goalie
1 "Power Play Player"

For the Center, Wings, and Defensemen - you will receive (3) points for each goal, (2) points for each assist, (1) point for plus/minus (including negatives),  (0.5) points for penalty minutes, and (0.25) points for shots on goal.

For your Goalie, you will get (5) points for a win, (-1) for a goals against, (0.2) points per save, and (2) points for a shutout.

For your Power Play Player, you can start any position, and you will get (10) points for any Point (goal or assist) that player gets ON A POWER PLAY Tuesday night.  EDIT:  It must be that players power play (short handed goals on the other teams power play do not count)

You can not start more than one player from the same team.  ESPN Website will be used for player rankings (so if a player is listed as a Center on there, you can play him at center)


Tiebreaker 1:  Name of the book with this original cover.
Tiebreaker 2: Number of Goals for Chicago
Tiebreaker 3: Number of Goals for Columbus
Tiebreaker4:  Order of submission.

No, there was a specific location inside the book where the idol was... as the rules say.

I think it is safe to say that following the rules are very important. If rules are not followed there are consequences that should occur. I sent the following sitemail to pola-

If I am not mistaken the hidden immunity idol was played improperly by nyaggie98. He sent you a SITEMAIL where the rules for Survivor as posted by you clearly state that you must post in the THREAD (6a). This did not happen and should not be allowed to stand as it does not conform to the Survivor rules. I would like a recount or something.

 

6a) If you have a hidden immunity idol, you will have three hours to play it between 6 p.m. EST on the day of a expulsion vote and 9 p.m. EST. This period comes directly after the voting period. You must post in the thread that you are playing it, and the person making the post must be the one I am aware has the idol. If you moved it and didn’t tell me, I won’t recognize you playing it. I will simply announce that person does not have an idol. You cannot transfer it to that person after this point. You missed the opportunity.  If you play it, any votes against you will be thrown out and the rest of the votes will be counted with the top vote getter being ousted. Not all immunity idols are created equal.

He informed Tyson beforehand that he would like to use his immunity idol, and pola posted it for him.  It's the same thing.  It has happened before, usually when the person is unable to get online to play it during the required time.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, Tyson did this last game when he was playing.  Nobody questioned it.

If that is the way it can work then it should be posted in the rules. It seems 100% clear to me that when playing an idol, you are to post in the thread. Nothing is said about playing the idol via sitemail.
