This is why I hate the HBD FA market.

**** YOU TISI IN YOUR CUCKHOLD MOUTH

You stole Larsen from me. YES. LARSEN-Y PUN.

Seriously. He took less money to play for your ******-named franchise. I led the entire time on him. Go sit on that one liter bottle of Pepsi. Jerkoff.

I dropped out at 5/55.  I guess it must have been close because tisi came in at 5.2 less than that and when I bailed I was told I was not in the lead.

I offered him 5/10/10/10/10 with a 10 million dollar bonus and a mutual option on the last year.
3/16/2011 3:52 PM
Plus, I am the two time defending WS champ.  That should have given me a bonus, not a hit, right?  Just curious how my offer got beat out.
3/16/2011 3:53 PM
I was 10.8 per for five years with a 4.2 bonus, I believe.
3/16/2011 4:02 PM
so my total value was much higher than the approximate $49m tisi signed him for

But the manner in which it's still counting against my budget makes me wonder if some sort of system error is at the root of the issue.

The 12:01 was the offer where I set the standard. The two actions on March 14th were me increasing my own offers. I added more money to the bonus and I changed the hundred-thousand-dollar point in the contract to more than his offered number in that spot. Just in case someone was lazy and just changes their offer based on the millions...
3/16/2011 4:12 PM
You offer was barely higher than mine and my team is way cooler...  so clearly he should have signed with me.

My team name is better. Plus, who'd choose Iowa City over Florida? Iowa doesn't even have DVR's.
3/16/2011 4:19 PM
Plus Iowa is probably one of those stupid midwestern trash states that outlaws velcro.

As General Manager of PredictionMachine.com, this is Paul Bessire's eighth tournament applying similar technology to the Madness. In the previous seven seasons, the methodology has accurately forecast the eventual champion five times. For the 2011 NCAA Tournament, PredictionMachine.com likes Ohio State to win the title more often than anyone else, yet just 12.7% of the time – leaving the field pretty open for other teams like Duke (11.5% likely to win the championship), Pitt (10.3%), Notre Dame (10.1%), Kansas (8.8%), Syracuse (5.7%), Purdue (5.4%) or Kentucky (4.7%).
