I've read your comments about the Trade Rape thread in Clarkson.  How do you suggest to clean up the mess? Should I just move on and join a different world? How is world Steinbrenner working out?

If the owner is cheating, veto his deals.   If he's just taking advantage of the inexperienced/less successful owners, educate them.     If you're not attached to the team, probably best to move on.  Lots of worlds out there.    Steinbrenner had some problems but the commish and his committee addressed them.  I think we'll have more openings than normal but, in this case, it will be a good thing.

For the most part, I don't really care how one behaves as long as they take care of their teams.    I can say that his actions probably didn't help him as far as actually getting a team.   Not because it bothered me, it doesn't.  This is the internet and the internet doesn't have room for sensitive people.  But because it probably bothers some of the current owners of MG.  

Edit:  However, I do like the "Screw you.  I'm not apologizing for nothing" stance he's taking.    At least he's standing behind his dumbassery.

Would you believe me if I said it wasn't his blog post, or even that he's not backing down, but rather that he's such a ******* retard that he's actually calling people offended by it "homophobes"?

Isn't that like calling people who are offended by stuff like this:

You can't argue with someone who can't defend their own point.  Can you?

In this day and age, you'd like to believe that no one would be offended by being called "gay".   We're supposed to be enlightened and open-minded.   I was given a brief vacation for implying that jfj and his boyfriend were on a couple's retreat for the weekend.  I actually asked ADMIN "Why is that offensive?  Do you think there's something wrong with being a homosexual?  What's that say about you?  I don't think it's any more offensive than calling someone a canuck.  This isn't the 1960s."  I can almost see cactusmaz's point. 

I'm not entirely convinced that iain is right.   It would be the first time ever.

Can I recind my concerns about cactusjack?

When I read the first few posts, and saw his name in the MG thread, I thought: Okay.  Then I saw him being stupid.  The kind of stupid I don't like dealing with - using big words when they don't know what they mean.

But I'm guessing his "won't back down" attitude will play well, don't you?

That said, does the fact that he has less than 10 completed seasons mean he'd just become mum's new play thing in the trade market?

Good Lord, should we be marking this day down? As in, does this post mean that iain was right twice in a ROW? In the same thread????
