soxyanks12 – How much collaboration was there in choosing who would play with which team?

To be honest there wasnt very much collaboration at all...a couple guys did a bit of research and suggested a team...So i basically chose 8 teams..I will NOT throw the rest of my team under the bus as the PINK Ladies got a few lucky innings to win this 1st challange...enjoy it girls...you wont be winning very many challanges in this season!

toddleduc crushed the Tigers 9-3.  Pretty sure the Tigers weren't even good enough to be considered underdogs compared to that Twins team.  What a lineup!

nfet – Both tribes went with the ’81 Yankees, though they had the lowest win percentage of the 77-81 teams. Did you have any real chance against 78 Guidry in the clinching game?

Firstly, my game was the clinching game in timing only, which was a matter of randomness and users' schedule.  And, yeah, I think I had a very real chance to win.  I lost only by 2 runs in my first time using the live interface.  Many LOB; I was one nicely timed hit away.

I want to answer this as well...nfet's answer is 100% correct...If we had won the next 2 but lost the last one we would have lost 5-4 instead of 5-2  it was a matter of timing and good old sparky....( we all know how fickle sparky can be) This time he was with the Pink Ladies...next time he will be with the MEN in this game!

Actually, and not that my opinion matters much, I'll back nfet up too...it was a terrifying game, honestly...

This challenge required a lot of research. How was that work divided up and shared among the tribe? Was everyone asked to contribute?

I thought soxy did a good job.  He asked for help and it doesnt sound like many people (myself included) helped on this challenge.

The Red Tribe has immunity for this week’s Tribal Council vote. Blues should post answers to at least their own question below and are welcome to stir the pot by answering others.

After answering in the forum, tribe members can sitemail their vote to me, naming the Blue Tribe player they are voting to get rid of. If a Blue Tribe member has a Hidden Immunity Idol and wants to use it, specify that when sending me your vote. Any votes cast for someone playing the idol will be ignored.

Sabreclub, be aware my friend, be very aware... Keep looking over your back, because I know your scared. Your scared the same exact thing will happen. Being picked off one by one by one. Well this time my friend, your the one... Game over. If there is one thing that will happen in Survivor 3, it will be me outlasting you, just like I did last time. So go kicking and screaming and tell everyone with pictures how much of a girl I am. Your just helping my case. In the end, I'll be looking down at you laughing with your face on the computer screen in front of you.

losing sabre would not be a smart move for us...and bastan, as a member of the opposite tribe, quit meddling with OUR vote.

I assume he got two chances cuz I was unavailable to pick my team. Totally my fault. Everyone here knows my level of committment is high, but unfortunately (or fortunately) my real baseball team that i coach is heading to the regional tournament next week. we are competing in our league playoffs right now and we are trying to raise funds for hotel rooms and such. I apolgize

Ack, first of all that is awesome. As far as delta is concerned, you do know that survivor is a game that everyone is against each other right?oh that's right! I forgot you and sabre are boys! Don't worry delta, I don't have strong feelings for you to leave yet, but if u want my attention bc u are jealous I am giving it all to sabre, I can stop and turn all my attention to you so you don't feel left out? Would you like that little boy?

All of your attention on me, Bastan?!? I am so flattered. I have never had a stalker before, Bastan. I knew you kind of liked me the way you fixate on me, but gee shucks. Of course you and your boys are going after me. You're the one that fears me. I have no fear of you. If my tribe feels like I am the biggets threat and they get rid of me, I understand. That is part of the game, something some folks do not understand. It is obvious you you fear me... And your silly little posts only re-inforce my tongue and cheek portrayal of you. Best of luck...
 
Oh on behalf of Delta, you calling him out as being my boy is laughable since your boys Stain and Sox are following your lead...like you said alliamces and such are part of the game...or are you the only one allowed to have them. The attention seeking Bastan telling someone somthing like that is amusing to the point of absurdity. Enjoy

Considering that I have not talked to soxy and staind yet in this game is funny, but I do like rumors floating around. :) I knew you would get jealous of my post to delta, so you have my attention again sabre. I'm glad you think of yourself as a BIG threat. It shows you have confidence in yourself and that's a good thing. Too bad it doesn't really translate into the game because you also need to have trust and charisma, which are qualities you are still trying to figure out for yourself. It's okay though, nobody is perfect, including me. I guess having a lot of friends is a bad thing like you say, but hey I always look at the postives in life. And I also want to thank you for thinking about me during your day, it makes my day a little more enjoyable that you are scared and looking over your shoulder bc big bad Bastan is after you with his friends. Ahhhhhh, I will almost miss you when your gone sabre, because we won't have these enjoyable posts anymore. But hey, you win some you lose some.
