Wow, I need to do some re-grouping with my squad...no way I can start conference play with only 2 wins. I like what Mann is doing, but my gut says at SF it isn't working completely to my benefit.

i think your doing fine as is. you have five losses but all were top notch opponents. and your next four OOC games dont get much easier. only thing i see is that Scarlett is underperforming right now. but cant do much about that, just wait it out, and his numbers will balance out. maybe drop his distro by a point or two.

i think you just got take the bumps and bruises of this season. your team is young and looking strong for next season...

a couple other options you could look at...

cut walko's distro in half (let him be a true PG and set everyone up)

up your min on Cox and Roper (give walko and gillman a little extra rest)

put Thornsberry at 0 for three point setting (if he's not already there).

put Walko at -1

run a -2 or -3. you need the help inside, and your guards are fairly speedy with good defensive ratings. you've ran a -4 a few times, but i think that leaves you too vulnerable to the 3 ball...

i think everyone's still soaking in the changes... i'm giving it a chance, and i'd say its better than before, but there are a few things that seem more difficult to do than before.

the coach at Southwestern (Crum) is probably moving on. they have been to the NT five of the last six seasons. i'm gonna post on the main board about the opening when signups roll around... just giving everyone heads up....

I know another coach that possible wants in. ahook something or other. He's currently at Hartwick in Crum. He had a successful run at Loras in crum, moved up to my old D2 school, Livingston in D2, then moved back down to D3 Hartwick this year.

i believe I was at Dubuque in the same conference as him when he was at Loras. He did a pretty good job keeping up what Sordie had started there (back to back championships)
