So, after selecting world and division it brought up the SQL Server CE Install, correct? Did that install finish, and now you can't use the software?

Close HD Oracle and reopen (if you haven't already). May be hung after the SQL Server CE setup? Let me know if the application has been restarted.

Good to hear! After so many intermittent issues, it's refreshing to hear from someone who's actually seen some success with getting this up and running.

To all of those who haven't been so fortunate, I'm still working on sorting out the issues. In retrospect, I should have targeted a much larger group for testing purposes, as the variety in machines which are now seeing the software is much greater than the software has been exposed to up until this point.

The promotion (price reduction) lasts two weeks. The trial has always been a seven day trial, and if I can get the kinks worked out for some users, then I feel a week is plenty of time to understand its capabilities.

Fair enough. I'll wait until it's all figured out and then see if I like it. Just like I did with Vista actually...

elmore, I just got on and downloaded the newest version. I am now able to dl a world's info, so it seems to be working just great. Thanks for all the hard work getting this up and running for those of us having problems! Hopefully I won't have to, but i'll be sure to post if i have any more problems!

whats ERI?
3/31/2008 5:10 PM
gotta question for elmore686. in looking at the team roster it shows a (pos) and a (rec pos) ,mostly being the same position, say SG. But, when pulling up the players "card" it shows PG as the position. It's that telling me that based on the players ratings, PG would be his "best" position.

i had the same thing happen expect it was with a PF and a C

The user guide explains it in detail, but basically it's an index used to show a player's effectiveness. It factors in relevant ratings, offensive/defensive sets, and IQ. PERI (Potential Effective Ratings Index) is a measure of that player's ERI at the end of his senior season (predicted).

Looks great so far, elmoore. Installation was tricky, but I have it going now!

Quick question, Is there a way to view a players SR/5 year. I am having trouble doing this with players who were once ineligible.
