I was actually very disappointed to see Hatcher go after Malone when he should have been going after Laraque. He just lost a lot of my respect.

ummmm... was Laraque even near the play? Did you want him to go over to the bench and say... hey George, I think we should be fighting instead.

if you watch the video you will see Hatch DID NOT GO AFTER MALONE, it was MALONE who started the fight.

Yeah, what in the world was Hatcher thinking? The classy move would to have let his teammate get jumped from behind, skate halfway down the rink (could only get a few feet FURTHER away) and go fight someone who was on the bench..

Same with the Richards Crosby "scuffle". If Richards had an ounce of class in him, when Croby got upset (a culmination of earlier words) he should have switched with Briere (since Richards can/does fight and Briere doesn't) so that it would be even. Briere should have been on the wing but I never saw the wingers number and it didn't look like Briere in the distance. If he was on the bench like he should have been, the obvious move would be for Richards to go get him.

Why would Richards let Briere fight Crosby when Crosby was beaking at Richards. If Crosby doesn't want to fight Richards then he should shut his yap. I am sure he understood he might have to fight him, but to say Richards has no class for not letting Briere do his fighting is outrageous.

....But you agree with me saying Hatcher should hunt down Laraque on the bench??

Briere vs. Crosby? Might as well let the ice girls duke it out. Actually...
