When a player is voted into the HOF, the team they represent is the team they played the most with. Now is that ML years or overall years?

ML years. Or games. Not sure which.

I just picked up this team in WIB. A quick inventory shows an OK-ish SP (Chang) a solid RP (Walker), three usable but not very good position players (Hunt, Russell, Blanco), and as many cheap filler arms as I need. There are some OK-ish prospects I can trade for a piece here and there, but I don't expect to pull off any blockbusters. After declining options and arb, my payroll should be around $35M with a decent enough FA class.

Do you think 85-90 wins and first in my 'tarded up division is a reasonable goal without murdering the franchise's future?

Sort of depends on the FA class. I took a similar team in Hamilton. Not much talent but not one player making more than the minimum. The FA class wasn't much so the good ones got out of hand. So I built the team this season with WW claims, R5 and after FA free agents(in addition to two young FA I signed during FA). I'll finish around .500 and, hopefully, see a better FA class next season while being in pretty much the same salary position.

do you find it amazing how many teams consistently lose 90+ when you can take a nothing team and get it to play .500 with the WW, rule 5, and FA bargain bin?

I do. That's why I hate the tankers. Just a tiny bit of effort and you can avoid piling up the losses.
