I really like all the double digit ast% guys on eleibowitz squad.

high usage, sweg... over 120%. good efficiency, which you're gonna need with such low oreb%. but that efficieny combined with very good ast% spells success (i think). however, you have two guys who underperform in the sim engine, hill and hakeem, but walton usually outperforms his wis stats. good looking team.

I do enjoy a challenge, but have dug a pretty good hole for myself so far so will be interesting to see what I can salvage from the dregs of the subs round.

Paul obviously gives me great assists, steals and D, and solid scoring though limited 3's. I don't think I've ever built a team with a scoring point though and really locked myself into searching for particular things in the next couple of rounds.

For the SG I wanted 3's, some rebs and some assists to help Paul's scoring. Had Barry in mind, but of course missed by a long way. Ended up taking a much lesser version that barely fitted the same search parameters.

For the PF I wanted either a big paint scorer or a low usage rebounder. Ended up deciding heavy paint scoring was in more limited supply and went with Kemp over Russell or Camby. I still like Kemp, though agree his TO's and fouls are a big negative. May still work out.

I've been away for the last four days and just managed to borrow a mate's iphone a couple of times to see if I was up. In the C round I spent about 10 minutes searching for a low usage rebounder that was available and of course grabbed Unseld about 20 picks too late. Johnson was another name I remembered from the search so just threw him out. I may still be better off using his 280 minute season lol.

SF was similar. Only really had one guy in mind, who was taken with the first pick of the round. Had to rush and just grabbed Schrempf as I thought he would give me a variety of things depending on the season and I could fit him in somewhere. At this point I'm wondering if I'm best served using him at SG at 99%.

So, have spent most of my cap and the team is currently all over the shop. I can at least say I'll be playing guys I've never used before heh.

Scud I love your team. You stole Odom basically. I really liked him but took Terry Tyler over him for the 89 Defensive rating. Does defense matter. I got stuck with Troy Murphy so I had to try and get some more D on the frontline. Now I have 90 D in McHale and 89 D in Tyler to round out my front line starters. But my team has one obvious weakness that no amount of EFG% or Defense may be able to overcome :(( 

My team is really good defensively, average d-rating of 83. Pretty happy with usage, steals, blocks, ability to get to the line. Rebounding should be ok though I didn't get a great offensive rebounder and Jones really hurts those ratings. Everyone but Dikembe hits a few 3s and I have enough cash to get a few more for the bench. Worried about fouls and mainly to's. Will see if there is room on the court for two 30+ scorers.

that's a nice looking team, logain. i love eddie jones, he rarely gets any love from owners. i was perturbed a bit when you took him because i really wanted odom, but knew odom wouldn't last. and look what happened. turn of events. you got everything except orebs, but you've got cash, and that is just as good.

i agree with what you said about your team, bargearse, but i have to admit, i had to go to school on earvin johnson. had to look up his numbers. though there were better centers available,  i do like his dreb%, and his low usage, which you'll need with three high scorers. seems like there's some chemistery working here. we'll see how the mojo gods treat this squad.

and i think malone is onto something here. so surprised one of my favorite sim players was taken so early in the sf round. ak-47 gets lots of love from the sim gods, and he's gonna play well with this cast of characters. zelmo's gonna help moses's game, i know it. and of course, magic at the point. quiet sniper from the arc. great balance king mosavi!

Is it just me or does the new defensive rating system seem to equte high fouls with good defense and low fouls with poor defense?

As this is only my third season and first draft, I would appreciate any thoughts or criticisms in regard to my line up.  T
