Sneak peak at the divisions (1 vacancy left in NFC Central):

A bit of a paradox to do this geo-wise with real life conferences AND ensure that you don't have any of the same division opponents in both conferences. Playing someone 4 times in a season is a drag even with different teams.

Its super conferences now anyways! The Big Ten Pac 18 mashup has Oregon and Indiana playing conference games early in the season. A conference with 18 teams!

This was the best that I could figure out. If a new owner joins, then its the NFC Central for sure, no matter who it is. Should it be someone getting a 2nd team- that will likely require more configuring.

Pitt Panthers:
DEF Chis Doleman Vikings
ST Troy Brown NE Patriots
OL Mark Stepnoski Dallas Cowboys
K Fred Cox
P Larry Swider
Edits needed on the ST rep (Troy Brown played at Marshall) and 1 WR on the roster needs to be removed (a last year transfer after 2 years at Pitt--post portal type circa 2021).

Normally I would not mention the player name in the forum, but his name is stated on the 5 reps and we also have to show that the 1996 Pats are not eligible.

The sitemail gives a number of other options for ST. Hint to everyone on ST- the newer NFL players have snap counts at the bottom of their profiles. So, you can look at recent defensive players at your school, then check to see if they have NFL stats, go to the bottom and see the breakdown of snaps for Off Def and ST. If it shows a percentage for ST, then you are good. I noticed that Pitt doesn't have KR or PR types, so you have to get crafty. Some of you may know this already!

Everything else looks good for the Panthers. Added the years below to make the other 4 school reps official. No years needed on the K/P eligibility. Sitemail sent on details for the ST and WR replacements. Thanks!

DEF Chis Doleman Vikings- 1987 Vikings
ST Troy Brown NE Patriots- replace rep and team
OL Mark Stepnoski Dallas Cowboys- 1993 Cowboys
K Fred Cox

Baylor Reps:
DEF 90 Bears Mike Singletary
ST 87 Bears Dennis Gentry
OL 86 Dolphins Ronnie Lee
K Matt Bryant
P Luke Prestridge
Baylor is perfect. Amazing job getting this rostered.

Not full of options. I had to go off the pro football reference grid more than usual to verify.

Who doesn't love Mike Singletary! Even the Vikings and Packers fans have love for him. It was pretty touching watching that 30 for 30 with him and Buddy Ryan talking about the 46 Bears Def. You could really sense the real and raw emotion, it was like the cameras weren't there.

Darrelle Revis: 2011 NY Jets ST--- to make this official for Pitt Panthers on the 5 teams reps and the roster is good to go.

Revis Island returned 1 kickoff that year, so he is eligible as a ST rep. Seems no snap count totals and percentages were collected before 2012, maybe that is when it started on the pro football reference profiles.

The best thing is they get kickoff returner Joe McKnight with a 31 yard average and that ST team with a 99 KR rating.

Chris Doleman is my favorite DE/OLB of all-time. He was so good against the run and a relentless pass rusher. He's criminally underrated. I loved watching him play more than any other edge besides LT.

5 school reps are perfect.

2 changes needed on a backup QB and backup RB.

Both transferred to another school after starting their collegiate football career with the Golden Domers. Should be an easy adjustment with their talent pool. Sitemail sent.

5 reps are perfect. I will anticipate the team roster. This is a courageous team build here!

It is actually workable with a RB committee. This link might save some time. All Arizona alums with AFL/NFL stats. With this page open, Click on Pos on the left to group by position. And you can click on each name to go to their NFL stats. Create the short list and look them up in the WIS player pool. Or do it one by one with both windows open.

Thanks to all. A cross check with updates will be posted in the next 24 hours.

almost time for kickoff!

still pending the Washington huskies. That would the last team needed. I’m guessing PsychoWarper will have that in soon.

We will pull the 1 spot vacancy from the forum listing after that.

announcer Keith Jackson: teams have been strategizing and running those 3 on 3 Oklahoma drills. Now it’s almost time to lace em up and put those opponents in the vice grip!

Analyst bob griese: coach Bo really knew how to get us motivated. Whatever it took. Fire alarms in the hotel saying the opponent did it.

coach jimmy johnson: down in My-amis we would just eat some empanadas and laugh at the next team.

Herbstreit: no Ohio state?

Kirk Cousins: Rodney dangerfield was not wrong. No respect. The sparty party is real.

andre Rison: yeah, you need to chase this waterfall.

tebow: leave some room for Jesus

nick saban: refusing to take every game seriously is like eating rat poison.

Reggie bush: now it’s ok? NIL. Blasphemy. They were profiting off me!

Ricky Williams: it’s all good baby. I can play or maybe I won’t.
