Vancouver still tied with the Rangers after New York loses to the Bruins. NYR have one more win then the Canucks. Presidents Trophy is not as important as the Conference IMO. I don't think the Rangers make it out of the East this season. Not because they're a bad team. I think it will be the Bruins or Pens from the East this year.

Great couple games this week end. Team looks good but whats up with Bieksa? Alberts has played well though. Kassian looked good vs the Flames on Saturday.

Canucks

Tuesday - Ducks               Canucks win in S/O 5-4 - 109 pts
Thursday - @ Flames      Vancouver loses 3-2 - 109 pts
Saturday - Oilers               Canucks win 3-0 - 111 pts - Presidents Cup Winners

It's not out of the question to run the board here and win the West. Ducks are kind of a thorn in the side.Calgary road game is 50/50 and the Oilers game will be like practice before the P/O's.

Rangers

Tuesday - @ Flyers               Rangers win 5-3 - 109 pts
Thursday - @ Pens               NYR lose 5-2 - 109 pts
Saturday - Caps                    Rangers lose 4-1 - 109 pts

Much tougher schedule the Canucks. Two road games vs two P/O bound teams. Caps are playing P/O hockey already.

Blues

Wednesday - Red Wings          Lose in S/O 3-2 - 107 pts
Friday - Coyotes                          Blues lose 4-1 - 107 pts
Saturday - @ Stars                      Win 3-2 - 109 pts

No one like playing the Red Wings....ever. Should beat Yotes @ home. Travel to Dallas for last game and Stars might still have a shot at the P/O's with a win too.

Luigi was AWFUL.......Overtime now, thank god we pulled the anchor from the net.  Cory has stolen at least 1 point for this team.

Did you get the feeling the TSN commentators were letting Gillis know who the Canucks need to play net? I hope it starts to sink in.....soon. I think Luo would be a great back up goalie for the P/O's. Like I said in my last post, the Duck are always a thorn in our side. Freaking Corey Perry loves playing Vs us. Burrows, Higgins and Lapierre have been our better players lately. That Dman we got from Buffalo, Gragnani, send that SMF to the Wolves in Chicago. He's been aweful. I wouldn't miss him. Kassian left the game with an injury. Hope it not serouis.

So we are still tied with the Rangers for 1st overall with 109 points.

Stykman is right......At least we have the option in goal.  Lu get's a short leash and the starters job is his to lose.
If Lu has the added pressure of knowing the starters job is his to lose, maybe that is the fire under his a$$ that he needs to perform at his best.   Canucks nation benefits by Lu performing at his best.
