Living in NY is very expensive.   I've only passed thru PA but it looks like a craphole.   I guess, in the end, it depends on employment/commute time.

If you were planning to use this guy as a #5 starter only when you actually needed a #5 starter, what other role would you use him in when he didn't need to be in the rotation?  Mopup, Long Relief B or something else?

Will anyone sign any of my Type B free agents this season? I resigned one, but there are five or six still out there that I have no interest in at current demands.

So I guess the real question is "Is there anyone in my world dumber than me?"

I'd just use him in long relief.   A and B flip flop based on results for me.

If they didn't get signed during FA, they'll only be signed if/when a need arises.  
I would assume not.

Well, 'tardcomm reading the R section of the dictionary would be pretty funny for awhile but I think, eventually, I'd tire of it.
