Elmore! You've done great work! I'll use this through the trial period and plan on spending the $20 to purchase it! Great work, and it is fun to see what might happen! :)

Got a quick question E. Is there anyway to like open another instance or use the program while downloading another world?

Quick question, Is there a way to view a players SR/5 year. I am having trouble doing this with players who were once ineligible.

Ahhh, great question porkpower..

Currently, there is no way for the software to know that a player was previously ineligible because it is pulling information from team pages. I may need to add the ability to see further years for any player, leaving it up to the user to find those that it applies to.

You can switch to another world in the same instance while downloading, though I admit the performance isn't all that great. It's been difficult to get the download process off of the main form's thread, which means it currently eats at the performance. Future updates will fix this, though it hasn't been a priority yet.

You can definitely switch to another world during a download, but whether you can live with the sluggishness is up to you :P

Should I download the updates even thought it worked for me last night?

Ok cool thanks E! We'll see if i can deal with it :)

So the system is currently giving ineligibles increased ratings thro the year they sit out?

Yes, accept the update, though you won't need to re-download the .msi from the website. Just click "Yes" when it asks to update and you'll be good to go.

Sounds good! Would be a good addition to have a "What if player x had 4 more years eligibility". Just for sh*ts and giggles. Find out how many seasons it would take for my D3 stud to max out in all key ratings.

Plus this would let us manually adjust players to compensate for the SR/5 season.

I am impressed more then you could know, elmoore. This will take up the rest of my time tonight. So much for housework!

Actually, as I was typing out my response, it hit me.. I initially didn't support current ineligibles because their status didn't indicate it (ie. still gives them the "S" status). However, I believe I can flag players as current ineligibles by grabbing onto the little image that appears on the Roster page. Look for support in future updates..

Headed to class.. I'll be back on around 8:00 pm CST. We'll hope nothing blows up between now and then! :)

Elmore very impressed also. Just wondering this, I noticed ft is always set to 10 in your default pp. Is that the # that is used to keep it steady in your engine? I have always done 12 as I have had players go lower in ft with anything less.

You can change it in your own practice plans, zhawks. The Sim teams automatically adjust to 10 (Prob why he set that as baseline).
3/31/2008 6:34 PM
Yeah I know I can change it. Just curious as to if its the baseline for no decrease in his sim.

I'm confused as to what ERI does. Should this help with player distro?
