Us Canucks, when we played street hockey, usually pretended we were a player (I was Mike Palmateer). Did you play street hockey? If so, who were you when you played? Does this extend to different sports (ie. were you Don Mattingly at the plate)?

I did not. I never pretended to be anyone but I'd sometimes choose a number based on team/player. I wear 23 in softball now.

WifS formulated a tie-breaker system based on coaching, success, park, etc., etc. Everyone has said it doesn't work and the player accepts the first max bid. I have no experience with it so I can't say for sure.
