There are a lot of really good 100-200 PA seasons on the list, and I was very tempted to grab one of them until I realized I could get 160 very good innings from Righetti. I also liked all these pitchers who've been grabbed right after me, too. It's nice to have so many quality options at the end of a round. Won't be the case with some teams.

My pick came down to Righetti or Grant Jackson although XXXXXXXXXXX was tempting too.

In the juice tournament right now, I have one team that has its entire offense built from the 1975 and 1977 Padres. I can assure you I won't be drafting any of those seasons here (although Dave Kingman is hitting a few homers for me ...). My starting infield includes Bill Almon, Doug Rader and Tito Fuentes. I know you're jealous.

That's one reason I'm glad I got a team like the Angels as my franchise. Most franchises are pretty deep, so you'll have decent options even lower in the round. Padres, Angels, Royals, etc., pickins could get slim down at the bottom

That being said, the Padres do have some studs if you're fortunate enough to be in the top 10 picks or so.
