It was between Peavy and Carpenter when I picked for team 11. Carpenter's low HR total was the deciding factor.

I spent the last 4 hours researching this pick. Somehow, I only have 3 eligible outfielders on this team (Yastrzemski x 3) and they aren't the greatest fielders. None have over 700 PAs, so I am going to need another OF (preferably one who can play defense). But I also need 2 infielders which is what my next two picks are going to be. Therefore, I need a solid starting infielder who also has a season that can play OF (can start and/or sub in for defense). I finally figured it out.

Robin Yount

I was very close to grabbing Yount when I picked Ripken but in the end went for the glove over the bat

I was between Peavy and Lincecum. Their top two seasons are eerily similar. I went Peavy for fewer walks although his second season does have the higher HR/9 as you mentioned.
