Okay, I guess I'll do this.
I was born on the day JFK was elected president. So, I've seen horrible things (John's, Robert's, Martin's assassinations, etc) and great things (first man on the moon, inception of the Super Bowl, Roberto Clemente, etc) as they happened. I have two wonderful girls (26 and 22) and my older girl is going to make me a grandfather in May, even though I told her I didn't want to be a grandfather until I was 50 (kids! what're you going to do?).
I grew up in Reading, Pa., rooting for the Pirates, Vikings, Bucks, and Bruins. I joined the USAF and learned Russian so I could be a translator. The Air Force eventually sent me to the U of Illinois on a scholarship. When I the USAF, I moved to St. Louis, where I grew to like the baseball Cardinals and the Rams. As you can see, it's been some lean years in sports for me, except for the Cardinals.
I'm a software engineer for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, so my job is about as safe as a job can be right now. I also create estate distribution documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc) on the side. I enjoy learning and so far I have a BS in Electrical Engineering from U of Illinois, a law degree from St. Louis University, and a psych degree from Maryville University in St. Louis. Oh yeah, my wife and I also run an animal rescue group in the greater St. Louis area called Mutts -n- Stuff. It's the only group in the area that actively rescues bully breed dogs and is proud of it. Since its inception in August of 2000, Mutts -n- Stuff has rescued and found homes for over 4000 animals.
