Question has been asked, not sure it's been fully answered. It is a topic worth discussing. In order:
1. Whoever goes bankrupt first picks last in the supplemental. True- in ct's inital set of rules.
2. Whoever has the most cash remaining picks first. True- again, in the rules.
3 and 4- This is where the gray area is and I've thought about this. It all depends on what the definition of "bankrupt" is. I am going to stray from the dictionary definition of the word in order to be true to what I believe is in the spirit of the league. For purposes of the supplemental draft:
A) Any team that has filled all 5 units (even if their balance is 0 at that point) is not bankrupt.
B) A team that cannot fill all 5 units using the money they have is bankrupt.
This could mean a team with a higher balance could actually pick lower. But I believe the team that was able to fill all their spots should be rewarded for doing so, not penalized.
