No one is unbiased.
Wrong.
Explain.
Do you speak for everybody?
Not sure how acknowledging the fact that everyone sees the world through their own personal lens could be “speaking for everybody” but no, I don’t speak for everybody.
Cool.

Then stop pretending that you do.
Cool, I never did. That doesn’t change the fact that no one is unbiased.
Fact?

Or maybe just your opinion?
No, it’s a fact that everyone sees the world through their own personal lens.

You do it. I do it. cccp does it. Supreme Court Justices do it. Cops do it. Teachers do it. Everyone. The idea that someone could be completely unbiased in all situations is moronic.

I disagree. One of the issues he ran on, and won on, was border enforcement.

He may have lost the battle, but may still get his wall.

I don't agree with everything he says and does, but he is doing what he said he'd do. Repeal and replace is his only promise he hasn't made good on...

Most Americans had no idea what he would do. Based on his accomplishments versus his campaign promises, how will voters view him for reelection ? He is a known commodity, love him or hate him. If the economy continues on this trajectory, he may not need a change of address card for awhile.
He is going the wrong way on -eliminating the debt-.
True. His OMB chief addressed that today. They are looking to reverse that. Spending is still too high. And they could eliminate some of the loopholes that the wealthy take great advantage of. They could tweak rates on the wealthy. But it is a concern. In 2015, Trump said 24T was the over the falls number...

Funny how the Left are concerned now, they didn't give a rat's *** as Obama drove it up through the clouds...
That's a fair criticism of Obama. I think spending in certain areas should be gradually cut back and the income tax code needs an overhaul. IMO u should b close to a balanced budget n a good economy so that deficit spending n a bad economy isn't as detrimental.

Topic of the day (for all3's sanity): Daylight Savings Time! Does it still carry any benefit or is it unnecessary?
3/12/2019 9:17 AM
Why does this matter?
3/12/2019 9:41 AM
It matters because two states have already done away with it and more are considering it.
  • Studies have found that there is a 25% spike in the number of heart attacks the Monday after DST.
  • A study in Finland found that strokes increase by 8%.
  • Work productivity declines.
  • Studies have found that grades for high school age kids are lower in March, specifically after DST.
  • Depression diagnoses rise in the fall when we lose an hour of daylight.

All in all, Tang, the topic is more designed to be a break from politics and the back and forth name-calling. If you want to continue on with a previous topic, feel free.

Oh he's gonna get re-elected... democrats are incompetent.

But he hasn't made good on his promise on the wall... first off the wall isn't built, secondly, Mexico isn't paying for it.
Construction is underway. And with an improved trade deal with Mexico, they are paying for it, albeit in a roundabout way. Perception is a funny thing, ain't it?
Mexico will pay for it via remittances. Once the wall is built he will implement a 10% tax on them. At least that was his plan. Who knows now. The Democrats have turned evil. Electing devout Muslim extremists to Congress is a non-starter for me. Tang still denies that the Democrats are slowly inching toward open anti semitism.

I will sit this one out... Let's see what arguments form.

I don’t think the left (as a whole) is terribly concerned about the debt. I’m not.

I do think the hypocrasy on the right is hilarious.

I see where changing the clocks twice a year is a royal pain in the butt, and a temporary inconvenience.
Not sure how anyone could link it to strokes and other physical issues though.
I do know I'd certainly miss those long summer evenings.
Overall, I'd be 51-49 to keep.
