Thanks, nj... I attribute it to black coffee, and a slow morning at work. :)

I'm not clear what the reason for this question would be. It sounds like you're implying that if the screener didn't notice what a douchebaag the guy is, then it's okay for him to be a douchebaag

i'm asking if the guy was 'normal' up until recently or if he was not screened well by the commish. having read that the league had to go public (assuming he joined after it went public), now i know how he 'slipped thru the cracks', as it were

whoa, sergei's the guy who used to own my team. good job trading Nate Singleton he only had 200 RBIs last year.

what the hell league is that in?
2/11/2009 1:34 PM

You can't control everything. Sometimes you allow someone in your world that really ends up making problems that you never thought would happen. Lots of times it leaves innocent people looking to appear to be the bad guy. In this case it was not known from what I understand. Who can ever tell that someone one day will just up and release everyone on their team?

that's why i asked if the guy was screened well enough or if he had been 'normal' and then suddenly snapped

I'm fairly certain I can name at least 50 owners who wouldn't do that, and by extension probably 100s more through references from a few trusted sources.

yea some guy that you then traded back to the same team for some other dudes, not a great series of trades although i've seen worse...
2/11/2009 1:56 PM
coo
2/11/2009 1:57 PM
although i should point out the other team has won the past 3 world series.
2/11/2009 2:01 PM
yay sergei! well done.
2/11/2009 2:11 PM
thx!

i'm sure my one trade 9 seasons ago caused that guy to win the w.s. the last 3 times in a row!

i should demand a free hbd team from him
