Progressive league owners - ideas needed Topic

if admin could somehow print a full player list for each year and all the comissioner had to do is delete the names that would be tremedous help as I myself had made mistakes in draft forums.

but it would be much better if admin supplied last year's roster and all you had to do was check a CUT box next to each player you wanted to drop

all players CUT would be added to all players NEW and that would be your league draft list

the simple default would be if you don't cut players no one gets cut, but once again it would be far better if the commissioner could override the default by cutting players for teams whose owners are no-shows

really, this would all be self-evident if someone from WIfS entered a progressive and stuck it out for three or four seasons

ONE YEAR YE FUKKELNECKS

maybe this couds be handled in the gm's office - liek the aaa guys are. just insert a keep/drop box instead of the trade box currently used ( or add it - if the progressive contains aaa players)

I am SO tired of cutting and pasting groups of 50 from the draft center to an excel file, then deleting header lines every 15 players . . .
----------- ah yeh
having jumped into my 1st progressive because someone else ducked out. i have assembled numerous spreadshets to try to just find out who/whats available

I don't think this has been mentioned on this thread yet -

The cumulative stats are nice, but what would be nicer is if leagues had a list, like the leaderboard list, that was sortable and gave all-time season and career stats - even for retired players.

1917, 1944, 1972, etc. or better yet, 1885 - Most Recent Season

A season by season alphabetical list of all players out of the WhatIFSports SIM despite previous and later seasons.

In other words, a list to easily find the players eligible to be on traditional Injured Reserve, Disabled List, Military Service by season.

I'm working on compiling all of our ideas. And writing them up in a orderly way. Hope to get it posted tonight or tomorrow morning.

An option to allow the use of more then 25 players after the Game 120 Transaction Deadline would be nice.

Some leagues require almost all real life At Bats and Innings Pitched to be put to use. The 1969 - 1976 years are a good example.

Received a reply back.

"We'll review in the coming weeks"

Now we can only hope. Again thanks to all that posted ideas.

I'll keep everybody updated if I get any new info.

I received a response back from my ticket:

"There are many great suggestions here. We'll see what we can incorporate in our next round of updates. We may reach out to the group when we get closer."

At this point, this is all we can expect. Admin can't just snap their fingers and implement the whole thing. I hope that admin will seriously consider all or at least part of what we posted. Again I want to thank everybody that submitted ideas.
