Assuming that is true, it's hard to see how he would never get investigated while using such a purely effective gift strategy. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm simply ignorant of how these things can work, so in absence of that knowledge, my hunch is that LM2 is clean.

Im not sure what he does but he has admitted to using them in the forums. To what extent? who knows for sure could have been once or could be on a regular basis. He obviously is a smart guy so maybe he has it figured out. Boosters cannot be used on the first cycle safely. Im not sure if he has ever been investigated or not? im about to get busted for them with that z id but I "beleive" they can be used

My initial post wasnt meant as an indictment against Lost...Was just saying no results shock me when you have a super team...once the discussion became side-tracked my comments were made in general and geared towards any team that gets a walk in recruiting...Also, I highly doubt he's using booster gifts...I track his Phelan team alot in terms of recruiting, scheduling, game planning in an effort to learn...and have come to the realization that most of it comes down to uncontested recruiting...All the gameplanning in the world isnt going to stop that team or any other super team outside of the occasional RNG.

LOL...Not at all...in fact...Im only in one world with him and our schools are to far apart...If I was in his conference and/or closer proximity...You wouldn't have to read between the lines (which you might want to work on for future reference) as it wouldn't be a secret; I'd go after him or anyone else I felt was monopolizing top tier talent...I don't think its good for the game...and my actions (and their benefits/consequences ie see NC State and Charlotte Tark; CS Fullerton Naismith; Pitt Phelan) in the past would support same...Remember "Moys Battle Cry"? Just in case you thought otherwise, mmt, I don't intend my comment as an LM indictment either. I think you're correct, both that he isn't using gifts, and that his area foes will have to take action against his heretofore unfettered recruiting, if anyone is ever to compete with that program, on anything like a consistent basis.

As a further aside, just like y Driesel wanted to make Maryland the "UCLA of the East," I would love to make Oregon the "UNC of the West." But it not's going to happen. The PAC 10 and other west coast teams are too good, and I'm not lostmyth2.

I'll tell you this much...either way I'm safe...its not like he'll take it out on me by targeting my recruits (why in the world would he downgrade)...and based on my postseason sucess (lack thereof) I don't have to worry about playing him...
