Very interesting concept Terp. One simple rule for the league that I propose is: NO PLayers Allowed With 33.3% or Higher 3PT FGA% Period! IMO just that rule alone would make for a very fun league.

To me the biggest issue with the SIM engine is the ungodly amount of 3 points shots being taken and made. Then factor in guys like Voshon Lenard being used as point guards because of extremely high 3 pt % and low turnover % even though they never really played that position effectively in RL and we have a very unrealistic simulation of basketball.

Any thoughts ???

yea...terrapin you gotta limit the 3pt too....that would be the icing on the cake for this league

A few more thoughts. 1) Defense of 60 max, 2) Total rebound rate of 30% or less to keep it simple, 3) All Field goal percentages of less than 56% 4) Less than 25% usage. That allows for some great scorers but no superstars.

I like the ideas presented so far. This league will have many players used that never get much love in any of the other theme leagues.

on the number and lower percent is fine- i have a mike miller whose drb is exactly 20.0, so its fine.... the league is posted and has myself and benjihall currently. i dont particularly like the idea of rookies- i think that teams will have enough minutes as is. i think that i will add a limit on 3pa- it seemed prudent... but i plan on making similar "best of the worst" leagues- with limits on 3pa, efg, different limits on usg and stuff. but i did add limit 400 3pa per player to the league.

let me know if the league isn't visible, because it should be.

I also changed the name of the league "death to peja"- as that is the most maligned, in my opinion, of the cokkie cutter players.

Probably too late for a suggestion, but. . .I would have possibly said something like "No EFG over 50%. . or 48%, or some number, rather than limiting specifically three shooting.

Or MUST have over 1400 turnovers and 1400 fouls and an EFG under 50% for the team.

Been hanging out looking for a league to catch my interest since the last two that did went under.

More specifically, I would jump right in if someone could get a low cap league, a "Fifties" league, some league that limits, say, efg.

If I thought it would attract interest, I would go for a 'Bricklayers incorporated' league: No EFG over, say, 48%.
