It's a non-linear scale, so only the upper end needed adjusting.

I think it basically means we wont be seeing anymore 80+ home run guys no matter their power. 60+ could be very hard now even with the best of power hitters...

I think they're just saying that the outliers (in terms of HR/AB) on the top end will get dampened.

My probelm is that people aquired players based on what they have done. If only top power hitters are impacted anyone with more power hitters is screwed.

If you are going to take away power do it across the board.

Tons of homers are still largely a by-product of shoddy pitching. We've never had a 70 homer guy in Cooperstown.
