Clicking the links from the actual page that shows the coaches, half of those coaches are retired.Must be a forum bug, like seeing the wrong amount of injury days, etc.

thats definitely my franchise. but what you guys are seeing, for some reason, are definitely not my coaches

Odd that everything else seems to be accurate.

In any event, maybe however the tie-breaker is being determined suffers from the same "bug" (assuming it wasn't a finance issue as was suggested above).

I see Norman Harris as his Hitting Coach, although his hitting IQ appears to be 96 for me, not 97. Odd.

I see the coach your saying is your coach.

whether the link works or not, harris is my hitting coach, and is a better one than detroit's. scranton is a more hitter friendly ballpark than detroit and my team won its division last season while detroit lost over 100 games. any other ideas as to why fuller might have liked detroit better?

Fuller and Miro were both signed on 01/20/2010 at 3:05 PM.

You say you pulled your offer because you were beat, and then offered to Miro, but that doesn't mean Detroit was the team that beat you in the tiebreakers. You could have been beat by another team, who then pulled their offer back because they decided they could spend $30M better. Or they could have had someone else sign, so their Fuller bid became void.

Also, having never actually offered a max contract, I'm not sure that if there are two teams with the same bid a 1 shows up. It might, and someone else might be able to tell you, but I would assume that it was a salary issue and not a tiebreak issue.

Being the owner of the Detroit franchise, I can say that Fuller said that my franchise was his top choice for the last 2 days; I never checked to see if the 1 was in the box next to him, though.

If you are not the #1 offer, you don't have a (1) beside him on the FA page.

If you are, you have it.

I've been on both sides.

Well, then it must be that Detroit had 2 SSs in the ML, while Scranton had 3. Which I don't think should be the first tiebreaker.

But more to the point, kj, a similar thing happened in Happy Jack with Andres Johnson.

Huntington had the better ML HC, submitted his bid first, had a better record the previous season, and I'm in Fargo (basically neutral, as compared to Huntington being a hitter's park with +2/3).

I'm curous what the explanation is, but I wasn't in the mood to push since I got the guy.
