but, to answer your question begonias - I took a lot of lumps early on in trading and I had to learn the hard way.

you have to know what kind of team you are trying to build and stay with that plan. part of that is going after players that fit that plan.

This wouldn't happen if more people kept their trade needs listed on the trade needs page...that way we could know who needs what...and not just during spring training too, throughout the season keep it up to date....
Sometimes owners don't really have any needs. It really doesn't take much effort to look at the roster of the other owner and identify some need positions. Some owners are simply looking to dump off players/acquire your studs though, regardless of what you have listed in your needs.

Maybe keeping track of the trade block would work. I will post excess at a position on the block, and if there are no needs listed, figure that other teams are doing the same.
