Another concern in the drafting process - It turns out that the majority of players from Vermont were pitchers before 1950. Weeding those out, as well as HOF player Carlton Fisk, players with salary under $1M, Yankee/White Sox players, and guys over 22 HR or SB, that leaves us with a player base of 10 players (some with many usable seasons) to choose from.
Someone feel free to check me, but according to my research, the only choices are:
Hitters:
Daric Barton
Chris Duffy
Larry Gardner
Ralph LaPointe
Fred Mann
Amby McConnell
Pat Putnam
Birdie Tebbetts
Pitchers:
Ernie Johnson
Len Whitehouse
It's possible that all those would get taken in the draft...
