I'll take the 89 glove. For the same reasons I would take the guy from the recent draft. I'm not looking for hitting from the SS position and I would like the 9-pt difference in glove. As far as throwing, well I'm willing to except the fact that he may not throw every runner out, he is going vacuum things hit his way.

i'd take the 1st guy, mostly because i think the 2nd would be completely helpless versus righties, but it's close

This guy has very similar offensive ratings, and is mostly used against RHP for half of last season. Lorenzo Rosado

.250/.280/.375 seems optimistic. Unless you're talking about him hitting only against righties? Then only a tad optimistic. I'd think .250/.280/.350 platooning against RHP.

Steve Karl is the vs L half of my SS platoon; Tony Tatis is the vs R half of it. Both have similarities to the player you mentioned, and only play regularly because of their gloves, not their bats.
