I have a similar player currently at Con:95 Pwr:74 v.L:49 v.R:83, Eye:86.His weak split is a little better than yours and he faces fewer offhand pitchers than your guy would, but I play him full time and in 2300 AB's he's career avg .290 / .389 / .502, 120 HR's. Last 2 seasons v.L 200AB's/.281/.362/.513 and 174AB's/.287/.383/.534. Oh, and by the way, he plays half his games in TAC - extreme pitchers park. I would be very careful trading him unless you really love what you are getting back. Your guy will probably surprise you on the upside when he approaches his ratings.
1. 374 at bats is not a large sample size; it's half a season.
2. vL of 49 isn't really that comparable to vR of 36. For one thing, RHP is ~65% of a world's pitching.
3. All that said, I'd love a look at this player' stats against LHP for an entire 15 year career. I'll bet there's 3 or 4 like the seasons cited, 3 or 4 where he can't hit water from a boat, and 5-6 where he's dreadfully average.
