His overall shooting percentage is. 39%?
At any rate, his threes are not any better than average in that situation and certainly nothing special - definitely, in that case, not special enough to make up for things like the turnovers. Horrific was probably overstating it, but the main point is: His performance isn't really anything special, especially when you factor in turnovers and the like.

Really, because his 4 To a game his performance isn't great? Look through teams and add up until you get to 36 PPG and tell me if they are lower then his 4 To's combined.

No, because he isn't really an efficient scorer and his stats are seriously padded against weak teams. Really, his scoring isn't all that impressively efficient. Its high volume, but its not high efficiency. Its average efficiency. So its not 'great'. So, given the number of possessions he was given, his performance really is not that outlandishly great. Raw totals are not the end all of performance.

If you want to go NBA. Look at some of the bad high tempo Denver teams for players with a really high amount of points who were nonetheless not 'great' players. A high points per game does not automatically equate to a great performance.

I know this. I only mentioned zone because he didn't play any man teams.

a in the b --- It's not that he's overly efficient. He's not.

But he's also not inefficient. At least not all things considering.

This player (in my opinion) brings little to the table in ratings. And in a normal situation, my personal preference would be to minimize his distribution.

Instead he takes a shot every 50 seconds he is on the court. And even though he lacks the ratings to be a great player and he's forcing everything possible toward the hoop, he makes a decent number of his shots. Much, much higher than I'd expect.

I know his athleticism is quite good for a guard, but that's about all he brings to the table. And athleticism isn't the end all, be all because if it was then this guy on my team would be a very good player and instead he's my biggest offensive liability.

Feel free to check out Lindley on my squad. ATH is really the only rating he's good at, and he's putting up some impressive numbers. Given his %'s, I wish I had thought about feeding him the ball this much 2 seasons ago. He'd be the all time leading scorer by now.

Hmm ... you run fastbreak too, udm mike.

Maybe this only happens in the fastbreak offense?

That could be, kujay. That'd make sense I guess. Although not quite to the extent that it appears to make a difference.

PUt him in a stronger conference and with a decently tough schedule, and his statline would probably end up pretty bad.

But I hear yah.
