Superb!

does anyone remember the day when customer support was awesome? I can remember having a same day conversation with 3 or 4 responses all of which made sense and solved the issue.

I think there are still good folks in CS. You just have to work thru the minefield of bad ones to find them.

And, FWIW, I think some of their muddled responses are due to the fact that some of the questions are muddled. Ever read the forums? Some of the 'tards around here couldn't figure out to clearly ask for extra ketchup at a drive-thru.

I'm sorry, what do you mean by that? You're not clear.

Exactly. That's the thing about long-winded posts. You can get sidetracked.

true, although what you said about them having some good ones is like saying there are still some good pieces of corn in my turd after eating canned corn too fast. In the end it's all still crap.

I prefer not to group people like that. The fact that I can get competent responses from CS tells me that there are competent people working there. However, far too often, you just get gibberish. I usually make sure I know what I'm asking before I reply a 2nd time. Sometimes you're too close to the situation so you assume everyone has to know what you're asking. Usually they just answered a question I didn't ask.

"Teams in our world is playing the same team 6 times in interleague play. Is this a known schedule problem?"
"Thanks for the inquiry. The power adjustment went just a tad further than we expected. We evaluate your suggestions once a month and decide if further action should be taken."

I guess I'm more about the overall result. Yes, a few of their people are good, but that doesn't make up for the overall experience of dealing with CS.

It's pretty unsatisfying that it's taking them nearly a week to process a commissioner's request to remove an owner at rollover.

That shouldn't require any type of specialized skills or natural ability.

The 'retarded post collection' thread proves useful.

HA! what a tard. Aside from being a complainer, it is just an asinine thing to have ruffle your feathers.

Serious question here: has ANYBODY had a ticket responded to this week. Since Monday?

Yes. On Tuesday. Follow-up question has been sitting there since Tuesday though.
