It happened to a free agent I wanted to re-sign in Powers as well.

I sent a ticket in murph. Again, I hadn't seen that before...maybe it does happen all the time and I've jsut been lucky.

It happens...mainly with the guys that are top free agents. I just had it happen this past season. Originally said something like "At this point in my career, making the playoffs is my goal" after rollover. Once FA re-signing period began, it changed to "testing free agnecy no matter what".

This was for a guy that was good enough to get several max offers during free agency.

The player's status was that he was going test the free agency market. The message in which "he didn't care who he signed with as long as we showed him the money" didn't mean that he would re-sign, it meant that he's going to test the free agent market and sign with whoever offers him the most money.

The message could be a little confusing and we'll work to try and clear up any confusing messages in future updates.

I mean, I understand what they are saying except I think I've re-signed guys that have shown that message in the FA period...maybe I'm really wrong, but I thought that I did.

The good news is that I'm no longer questioning myself.
