I probably wouldn't make that deal if I were Owner A, but I wouldn't veto it.

On a pure talent standpoint, Player 5 is the only player in this trade worth a damn. Essentially, the second team is dumping 11 million in contract and getting three guys for his AAA team. The first team is picking up a shoddy SetupB guy and a #2/#3 SP with shaky health issues. Even so, team 1 is getting the only viable talent in this trade. If you'd have a problem with one team trading $8M this season (and $6m next season) for this guy, then veto because this is essentially a Cap$ for talent trade.

Player 5 has ++ trade value at 3 X $6...no way does unloading the the 2 X $5 guy make it a worthwhile trade.

He should have gotten much better talent in return, and there's no reason to include a pre-arb guy who makes for a solid closer.

I'd veto.

i very rarely veto...but this one is very lopsided...but does anyone know the thoughts of the party getting hosed...maybe he has a plan...a method to his madness...

plus...we dont know the trade rules (if any) for this league...
