How much difference does that really make? I extended my 3-time MVP and best hitter at age 30 last season, and he's got enough awards that you have to scroll down on the Awards and Accomplishments page to see them all. He extended for a non-outrageous amount (22M/3 including bonus, frontloaded). I wonder how much the demands of equal-overall-rating players differ if one has a roomful of hardware and the other doesn't

The way to verify would be to take anyone who's FA after an award season, and compare their demands to like players that didn't win an award.
Which, even in this sea of math nerds, has probably not been done.
Anecdotally, I feel it's true.
