Real life has practically no boundaries...HD does.
This game is a simulation of real life. If things happen here at a very high (or low) frequency when compared to real life, then
I feel that is a problem. If
you don't agree that a college basketball simulation should care if the average fouls per team in NCAA is 19 and its average fouls per game is 30 and at least look at the situation, then I am not sure why you would want to play a college basketball simulation.
Now, if the above was true, that MIGHT not be a problem if something being done by coaches caused the problem. For example, if play a FCP causes more fouls per game and if an unrealistic number of teams play the FCP, then it might be perfectly legitimate that Fouls (or FG%) is higher because of that. A quick review of the stats and the reasons behind the stats are in order though to see why those stats are different.
I actually do agree that generally if something happens 10% of the time in real life, it should not happen 80% of the time in HD ... unless there is some reason caused by coaches actions (ie, the FCP) that drive the occurrence of the issue.
