Answer: No, he can play for any team. The only restriction is that the year you twist to must be within +/- 3 years of your selected team.

*** FYI ***

I highly recommend that you start building/researching your 90M and 100M teams now. These will take the longest to complete.

In clone me, it says any ballpark your player called home at anytime in his career, so we don't need to use a park from a cloned season?

Correct.

Where can we go to start building these rosters? DO we wait for the leagues to be formed? Sorry this is my first go round

ok yet another question about the twist league. by far the toughest so far. are we limited to a chronological 3 year twist or can we just use the years that the player actually played? I have a player in mind who missed a couple of years during WW2 thus his years played were not chronologically in order.

Dalefan1,

You need to have 6 available teams. You can simply choose OPEN league and build them there. Once you have the league number, then you can Edit League Type and input the league number.

trdientric,

It's a chronological three years. So missing years due to injury, war, etc. means you have less years to work with for your twist.

So i have to purchase 6 more teams? Is that what you mean?
6/7/2010 4:54 PM
Yes, each owner must purchase a 6-pack (if they don't already have available teams). We're playing 6 teams (6 themes) at once.
6/7/2010 4:58 PM
do we have to purchase another six if we make the 2nd round?
6/7/2010 5:10 PM
Yes.

Of course, if you make it to the second round, you will probably have multiple teams make the playoffs and/or win the world series, so there will be credits available. Not to mention everybody who makes the second round will be "in the money".

In order to be considered the best, you need to have success over a broad range of different themes. This tournament will absolutely determine who the best WIS owner is. The winner will have had to put together 12 solid teams over a 5-month time period. Serious WIS owners only.
