I'll meander my way out of the retirement home and play in this league, if it gets up and going. This was always one of my favorite leagues, as it's the ultimate twist league.

come on guys, 9 more to go. Great, balanced league that gives you the opportunity to play with different guys than you might typically use!

ash, a heads up... I'm out of the country and totally off-line from the 17th to the 28th. If this league is threatening to actually get started during that time, please don't hesitate to give my spot to someone else. I'd love to get in on this, but don't want to hold up the launch.

come on folks this a great theme

consider the Mavericks - usually in the Gym Rat league they get picked late if at all because they cant compete on the boards

but here I believe Dennis Rodman played for them for about 6 minutes so problem solved - just put together a Rodman - Dirk - Marion front line and youre in dutch

what's that you say? FTA deficiency? well I believe Adrian Dantley was a Mav at one point wasnt he? sure he was - plug him at SG - of course you can you're getting the treys you would normally get at that position from your PF

throw in Jason Kidd with Derek Harper and that Erick Dampier contract year with the Warriors off your bench and all of a sudden you might just have a winner

Yeah... damp/rodman/dirk/marion frontcourt would be incredible on the boards, especially with Kidd as your point. Dantley gives you a ton of offensive boards, too...

And this is the Mavericks we're talking about!

Lot of great teams can be made out of traditionally weak (sim-wise) franchises.
