Seriously, you're 25-34 years old? Do you feel good about yourself? I don't support drinking and driving, but I support Erff. I feel horrible he is dead. I'm sure if I knew you and something happened to you, I'd feel bad about that too. Why antagonize people who clearly are just being nice about someone they liked? I just don't understand why you or anyone else feels the need to do that? This whole thing is sad, but I guess since we're on the internet we're not real people with real feelings.

As far as being self righteous Tecw, I think you're off base. His comment was rude and out of place and I called him on it. That's it. It's like booing at a funeral. If someone thinks Rudy was a drunken mess who killed himself on a suicidal binge, why not keep that thought to yourself when it makes other feel like crap. What do you get out of it?

If we were all sitting around a room having this conversation, no one would be so rude.

Whatever, Erff was really good to me and a lot of us on here and I wouldn't even be playing this game if it weren't for him, so I apologize if I am being overly defensive about someone I liked.

BTW, dad's birthday would have been on Tuesday. It's my first year without him and my first father's day without him also. Please, let the jokes begin....

I really wasn't being rude, and I'm confused as to why anyone would see my comment and not think that I am not grieving. I mean seriously, I have almost 65,000 posts and erff had 40k. You think we never talked? Is posting on the same forum for 5 years so much less intimate than signing his type-a free agent that I should just stfu?

I made one comment in support of an organization that aims to avert things like this and you went batshit trying to make the tragedy your own. In other words, how about chilling the feck out?

Sure. You're a sweetheart and you were just seeking to be a fundraiser for MADD. Whatever.
6/13/2010 11:21 PM
this is certainly not the discussion I was expecting when I started this thread. Can we please cut it out guys.

"Like this"? Provide a source or gtfo dude. Your assumptions and your comments are assinine.

Even if your assumption is true you're still a dumbass and are way off base.

Karma has a way of taking care of people like you, I can wait keyboard warrior.

While I am not the biggest KJD fan, I have never liked the man more than after reading this statement. Well said, sir.

+1

Really, can't we all just try to get along.
6/14/2010 5:27 AM
First, it sucks somebody from WIFS died. However, the facts are he would constantly brag about getting wasted and driving down whatever road he lived off of. Could that have just been for show? Easily. Its the internet and this place is as real Ice T's wife. But if that article that was posted included a family of 4 that was killed alongside him because of his actions would you have the same sentiment?

I was planning to avoid making a comment on this fine piece of dumbassery but, since it blew up, I can't help myself.

Does this make you "better" than the jerk who makes an insensitive comment? Really?
6/14/2010 7:45 AM
I found the comment hurtful.
6/14/2010 7:51 AM
I called you a jerk. Did that add to your pain?

It certainly is a fine way to honor and respect somebody who has died. Shows a lot of dignity and class.

I, of course, was trying to be offensive to make a point. I clearly wish no harm on anyone that gin_caesar cares about. As I said, I'm sure he's a good guy. It's easy to come off as obnoxious on an internet forum. Clearly, I have done so. I won't make any more comments on this issue. If you guys think Gin Caesar's original post was OK, then we agree to disagree.
6/14/2010 9:06 AM
Any chance GC was trying to be offensive to make a point?

I'm not saying I think his original post is OK. I'm saying your response is no better.
6/14/2010 9:13 AM
I would say that the response was definitely worse, as it was quite direct and not open to interpretation.

I really cannot think of any circumstance where it's OK to say "I hope somebody you care about dies" in an effort to "make a point". It just comes across as stupid, hateful and immature.
