Love this breath of fresh air. I finally read through the rules and it sound terrific. Sign me up. When do we start selecting Monopoly streets?
I have added the list of available street names just below the owner sign-up list.  They are first-come, first-served.

First-come-first-serve. Love it. Just like Monopoly, where being last always sucked.

I'm going to go ahead and pony up the $350 to buy Park Place.

Since I'm currently residing in Chattanooga, I'll take Tennessee Avenue.

I'll jump on the B & O Railroad, torriente !

(thanks for the tip, profcake)
mainly play LIVE Leagues these days but this one sounds too insane to pass up !

* Qustion- how are stadiums drafted/determined?

I can't pass this one up, I going to pick Reading Railroad.  With that the franchise officially becomes the Reading Railroad LaVar Burtons.

I believe they are selected with the C/DH/Stadium in the player unit draft.

For my team going to take Marvin Gardens
8/20/2010 3:42 PM
I'll take St. James Place

So glad you went that route with the team name profcake. I almost picked Reading Railroad for that exact purpose. Also, anyone else always try to hoard the railroads when playing the board game?
8/20/2010 11:07 PM
The railroads are crap. An $800 investment, to only get $200 a pop when they get landed on. Plus, someone will always hoard one, so you'll only end up getting $100 for a $600 investment. Early in the game, they're all right, but even with the Light Blues, a $1070 investment gets you $550, $550, and $600.

So with that, I'll take Connecticut Ave.

welcome aboard toddleduc. 15 in...9 to go.  I'll update the taken street names soon.

I'm gonna go ahead and select Boardwalk... it just feels right.

Right ?  and that was some funny (and true) analysis of the Railroads, lol... good stuff, jonas
the "Reading Railroad LaVar Burtons"  - classic...

* Word of caution for everybody when looking at teams to bid on- I believe per the rules that if a player has a split season,  the team with the MOST IP or AB's is the team the player is packaged with.  I was just looking up Arizona and realized that Schilling would go with Phillies package & not Arizona

Schilling, Curt 2000 Philadelphia Phillies R 113 6 6 0 3.91 1.26 .253 7.67 122 105 86 1.36 2.56 $2,548,896 A+/A
Schilling, Curt 2000 Arizona Diamondbacks R 98 5 6 0 3.69 1.10 .257 6.63 159 104 127 0.92 1.20 $2,621,551 A+/A+

That is correct. But keep in mind that whoever acquires the Phillies Starting Pitching Unit would be allowed to use Schilling's combined season.

To avoid confusion, I am working on a spreadsheet that lists every player in each Player Unit. I will post it in the owners forum when it's ready.
